Thursday of the XXIX Week in Ordinary Time

Thursday, October 22, 2026 Reading of the letter of the Apostle Saint Paul to the Ephesians (3:14-21): I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, asking him that, from the treasures of his glory, he grant you through his Spirit to strengthen you in the depths of your being, that Christ dwells by faith in your hearts, that love be your root and your foundation; and thus, with all the saints, you will be able to encompass the width, the length, the height and the depth, understanding what transcends all philosophy: Christian love. Thus you will reach your fullness, according to the total fullness of God. To him who can do far more beyond all we ask or conceive, with that power that works among us, to him be the glory of the Church and of Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Word of God They wait on His mercy, to free their lives from death and revive them in time of famine. R/.
