Prophet Isaiah (48, 17-19)

I wish you had obeyed my commands! Your peace would be like a river and your justice like the waves of the sea. Prophet Isaiah (Jerusalem ~ 765 BC 695 BC)

From the Book of the Prophet Isaiah 48, 17-19 This says the Lord, your redeemer, the God of Israel: «I am the Lord, your God, who instructs you in what is profitable, who guides you in the path you should follow. Would that you had obeyed my commands! Your peace would be like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would be like sand and like grains of sand, the fruits of your loins. Your name would never have been erased or torn from my presence.”
