Friday of the XXX Week in Ordinary Time

Friday, October 30, 2026 Beginning of the letter of the apostle Saint Paul to the Philippians (1:1-11): Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints who reside in Philippi, with their bishops and deacons. We wish you the grace and peace of God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God every time I mention you; Whenever I pray for all of you, I do it with great joy. Because you have been my collaborators in the work of the Gospel, from the first day until today. This is my conviction: that he who has inaugurated a good undertaking among you will carry it forward until the day of Christ Jesus. What I feel for you is fully justified: I carry you inside, because, both in prison and in my defense and testing of the Gospel, you all share the grace that has fallen to me. God is my witness of how dearly I miss you, in Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: may your love continue to grow more and more in penetration and in sensitivity to appreciate values. Thus you will reach the day of Christ clean and blameless, loaded with fruits of righteousness, through Christ Jesus, to the glory and praise of God. Word of God Lord is merciful and merciful. R/. He gives food to his faithful, always remembering his alliance; He showed his people the strength of his work, giving them the inheritance of the Gentiles. R/.
